Live Your Style is back with another great video to help you get that closet organized! These closet and bedroom organization hacks are a good reminder, especially for those of us who try to avoid looking at the mess in our closets. Even if you’ve got a well-designed, space-creating closet, that doesn’t mean you’re keeping it neat and tidy. We’ve embedded the video here and included some of our own ideas for helping to organize that space. You can also check out our past blog on the KonMari method here.
More bedroom organization hacks:
If you have worn it in 6 months or a year (if it’s seasonal) you don’t like it and you don’t need it.
If your shoes have dust on them you clearly aren’t wearing them! Donate them to a used clothing store.
Hooks can be your best friend. Decorative ones can be found everywhere from Lowe’s to Bed, Bath and Beyond and are great for organizing jackets, scarves, belts, purses and more. Plus they help get all of those things off the floor, which makes a huge difference.
Baskets or canvas storage boxes are another great way of keeping clutter at bay. You can use these to store bulky or hard-to-fold items like padded bike shorts (speaking from experience), your large collection of ski socks, or that stack of baseball caps you have.
If you need built-in shelves or a new plan for your closet, give us a call at (970) 234-0039 and let us help you design the perfect closet storage system or bedroom built-ins!
