Organization of pots and pans

Pots and pans organization

There are many considerations to make when redesigning your kitchen storage options.  Along with finding space to store appliances, canned good and non-perishables, you also have to consider how and where to store your pots and pans.  Below are several pots and pans storage options that we can help design and install:

First, before beginning any storage redesigns, make sure to declutter.  You’re only going to need to store pots and pans that you actually use: if you still have pots and pans around that you AREN’T using, it’s time to get rid of them!

1. Cabinets / Drawers – using cabinets to store pots and pans works well if you also include organizers for both the pots and pans AND their lids. (Like the ones shown above).

2. Hanging pot racks – Hanging pot racks are another great option for storing pots and pans, especially if you have limited cabinet space.  On a positive note, these pots and pans are always available and in reach.  On the other hand, a hanging pot rack means your pots are ALWAYS visible. It also means you still have to find a place to store the lids.

3. Wall mounted pot racks – Similar to a hanging rack, wall-mounted racks allow you to hang your pots flush against a wall.  These work well if you have limited cabinet space but also don’t want pots hanging directly over your stove.

4. Finally, you can also use a Lazy Susan to store your pots and pans.  We can create any size lazy susan for you, including taller ones (see below).  Corner cabinet lazy susans work great for pots and pans and allow for storage of both pots and pans and lids.
