If you’re like me, organizing your garden shed can seem like a daunting task. But with Spring just around the corner, it’s time to dust off the garden gloves and get your hands dirty organizing that space.
Step 1: Get rid of the junk in your garden shed. Don’t tell me you don’t have junk in there. All those old plastic containers that you bought tomatoes in last year are still there. Get rid of all the old bags, old containers and broken tools you’re no longer using.
Step 2: Use hooks and nails to get items off the floor. Find a large, slanted hook for your hose, and smaller hooks or nails for hanging shovels, hoes, rakes and more.
Step 3: Do you have room for shelves? If so, use them! You can have separate shelves for seeds, small pots, fertilizers and supplements and more.
Step 4: Consider a sink, if you have the space, to make cleanup after gardening even easier!
Step 5: What else can you add? Do you need metal baskets for storing small items? What about magnetic strip for holding small clipping shears and other tools? All of these are great options for updating your garden shed and making sure it’s organized and ready to go for 2017!
